The Corrib Oil Rewards App
A loyalty Programme App
Corrib Oil, one of our long-standing clients, approached us looking to develop a loyalty programme for their customers. The resulting app, Corrib Oil Rewards, allows their customers to collect points and avail of special offers every time they shop. Once they have signed up to Corrib Oil Rewards in-store, they can start collecting points on almost everything they buy, straight away.
Through the use of the Corrib Oil Rewards App, users can view all of their account information at their fingertips, allowing them to view their current rewards balance as a monetary value, and see if they qualify for any free in store rewards.
Through the use of an integrated API – we were able to build a dynamic rewards screen in real time for each user.

Wireframes
We created wireframes to focus on the structure and the flow for the users, while also keeping in mind the functional needs and desired features for Corrib Oil. These were worked through in iterations, with testing carried out through interactive prototyping software. We worked out the layout of the sections needed, each devoted to diverse offers. We also needed to allow users to easily view or edit their account details, stay up to date on available rewards in store, view store locations and register for free.
The UI Design
Corrib Oil wanted a UI that clearly showed customers their points status, purchases status, and a way to redeem points to a monetary value, offer or particular product. The design challenge was to clearly inform the user in an enticing way, while being limited to the small real estate of a mobile screen. The UI solution we arrived at is clear, concise and attractive.
The Result
The result has been a well designed and useful tool for Corrib Oil customers to use, day in, day out. It has encouraged more Oil sales, contributed to sales across Corrib Oil service stations, developed customer loyalty, while also giving insight and feedback into what their customers want.
