McSharry’s Pharmacy is an Irish owned Community Pharmacy Group consisting of 8 Pharmacy’s and a Health Store The Honey Pot, with locations in Galway City & County, Athlone and Castlerea.
They needed a way to increase sales, by selling their non-pharmaceutical products online, such as makeup, skincare, toiletries and other products that promote health and well-being.

The Problem
- Update and modernise the McSharry online shop.
- Add thousands of products and their related information, images, variants, prices and SKU codes in a time effective manner.
- Allow customers to easily “click and collect”.
- Enable staff to easily view, process and dispatch orders as efficiently as possible.
- Display and categorise Dermalogica products in line with the requirements as specified by Dermalogica, and submit for review to acquire official supplier status.
The best shopify ecommerce solution
The McSharry’s site was produced using best-quality design and bespoke development using the Shopify platform. The clean look and feel and the use of white backgrounds across the site helps to bring the McSharry brand and all the differently branded products together visually. Extra functionality was added for the specific requirements of McSharry’s, such as special drop-down menus, panels for special offers, promoted brands on the homepage, inside sub-category menus, banners and up-selling of related items. The site was set up to enable the timely and easy population of all the necessary product info and images, variants, tags and categories of products by uploading specifically formatted CSV files.
