Why clients ask for this
- UX for websites, apps, portals and ecommerce
- Research, journey mapping and prototype validation
- Practical recommendations for product teams
Armour is a User-Centred Design agency, which means that User Experience is at the foundation of every project we do. Our Galway based UX Design team can work with you and your project to create products that will give great user experiences. We do this by understanding what your users want and need from your system, how they currently engage with it and also by identifying the existing processes that might be in place. Once we have determined user needs and frustrations, we can tailor the new User Interface to solve these UX requirements.
We conduct in-depth user research and analysis of your customers. Part of this research is to meet with and talk to the users of your product. We want to understand them, and to document their role, abilities and objectives. This helps us to form a full picture of the product to be created and how to build it based on their needs, requirements and objectives. These interviews help us to pan for the critical nuggets of information that go into making a great product.

Once we have interviewed the users, we group the information into user types to define User Personas. These personas generalise the key feedback and highlight common experiences. This can provide your business with insight into your customers while also allowing our UX design team to understand user problems and objectives. UX Design is all about problem-solving by creating design solutions to improve User experience.
Users Journeys Maps are the documented flow of activities, emotions and feedback from your users while they are engaging with your Website, Mobile App, UI, or Web Application. These documents are produced using information gleaned from User Interviews or from the Usability Testing of a product.

We start wireframing by sketching possible design solutions that might solve identified UX requirements. We can quickly test these designs using prototypes of the product. We start by using hand-drawn sketches for quick iterations. Once it is felt that the sketch provides a viable design solution, we progress the screens into a digital wireframe. These wireframes act as the starting point for the digital product. We test the wireframes through prototyping tools and refine the screens based on feedback. Once the wireframes are refined and signed off, we progress the designs to high-fidelity wireframes or User Interface Designs.
After the the wireframes have been created, we produce interactive prototypes to allow the stakeholders and Users review and test the proposed user flow. These prototypes allow us to test the user experience on the device of the intended user. Armour’s team has experience in the creation of POC’s that connect and communicate to Data Centre Technology, Telco Infrastructure, IoT devices, MediTech and manufacturing technology. As part of the Prototype & POC process, we can conduct usability testing and UX iterations based on user data and feedback. Interactive prototypes can also be expanded upon to define a System Requirements Specification by the Product Development team as part of a Needs Analysis.

Use research, audits, prototypes and interface design to remove friction from websites, apps and digital products before users drop out.
A UX audit reviews user journeys, navigation, content clarity, forms, conversion points and interface friction, then turns findings into a prioritised improvement plan.
